PlayStation Portable 2. It will supposedly feature a built-in 3G connection (no word on U.S. carriers) and support wireless LAN gameplay. The console will also
sport a OLED touchscreen and a new processor for handling high-resolution graphics. Let the next-gen handheld console wars commence!
However, the device will
not be a phone, presumably so it doesn’t compete with the PlayStation-branded phone that's been making a splash around the internets recently. We don’t have any pricing or release date information at this point, or even what the thing looks like (the image above is one of the countless "concepts" of the handheld), but Sony is expected to unveil further details at a Tokyo press conference on Thursday.
