Pet Cemetary's Gettin Dug Up Again
Horror lovers and Hollywood can't get enough of Stephen King. With film versions of the prolific author's series The Dark Tower and his novel The Stand already planned, Empire reports that Paramount Pictures is now exhuming Pet Sematary. King's 1983 book, which told the story of a mysterious burial ground that resurrects the dead with a demonic bloodlust, was previously, and gloriously, adapted and released in 1989. Matthew Greenberg, who made heads turn 360° with 1408, his take on King's 1999 short story, is working on a new screenplay. Hopefully he and Paramount will do right by the property so fans don't regret its resurrection.
