After 13 long years of bunghole-free related programming—well, outside of Jackass—MTV has announced that they're bringing back Beavis and Butt-Head within the year.
Gawker reports that the network will air new episodes of Beavis and Butt-Head over the summer, though what the show will look like remains unclear. You'll recall that the Mike Judge series was one of the first narrative programs that MTV put on the air; it debuted when the network was still showing videos, which might as well be considered the Stone Age.
Until MTV clears up what they have planned for Beavis and Butt-Head, the question is this: Would you rather see the show rebooted, or pick-up with the pair as 30-something layabouts; badly animated and crude versions of Statler and Waldorf, commenting on the likes of Snooki and teen moms. We're kinda hoping for the latter...
